I am LOVING Atlas Shrugged. I'm amazed at Rand's control of the English language, considering she was born and raised in Russia.
For our first discussion, let's talk characters. Who do you love? Who do you hate?
Dagny rocks my socks. Rand manages to paint her singularly motivated by capitalistic impulses, yet also gives her a history and multi-faceted personality. She's not a flat character, though she must appear that way to the rest of her world.
Right now, I hate her brother.
